Another great beer for the British summer! |
Please note: Not all beers will be fully conditioned and ready; however, we are willing to serve beer straight from the cask sooner if you are happy with its quality. Please 'phone before travelling from afar - Chonkie.

Coniston Brewing Co, Coniston, Cumbria Bluebird Bitter (4.2% abv) "Bluebird is a fine session ale with a light golden colour. The intense resinous and spicy hop character which is this beer's hallmark is derived from the use of unusual quantities (I assume copious - ed) of English Challenger hops, and Maris Otter malt. This beer is fermented slightly warm, giving soft fruitiness with a hint of geranium." This is my all-time favourite British bottled beer and at only 4.2% abv!! (Yes, I know it's contract-brewed by Brakspears, but when supply can't match demand...!) Chonkie
£1.39 per bottle (50cl) Last few bottles |

Hop Back Brewery Plc, Salisbury, Wiltshire Summer Lightning (5% abv) "This terrific straw-coloured ale has a fresh, hoppy aroma. It has a well- rounded, malty flavour which leads to an excellant dry finish." A quality beer from a small quality brewer who is fast becoming a regional! In draught form, this beer is stunning - it has everything. In bottle form little of this is sacrificed. Once tried never forgotten - much sought after! Chonkie
£1.39 per bottle (50cl) (90 bottles left - 2500 already sold)
